I seriously cannot say enough good things about my entire experience at this hair appointment. From the second I walked in, I felt comfortable, welcomed, and genuinely taken care of. The whole process was not only professional, but actually enjoyable — which is saying a lot when you’re going in with hair that’s been through it 😭 First of all, Kristen is an absolute sweetheart. She is one of those people who instantly makes you feel at ease. She listened to everything I said without rushing me, asked thoughtful questions about what I wanted, and never once made me feel judged about the state of my hair. And trust me… it needed help. My hair was skunk dyed — super contrasted, uneven, and honestly I was mentally prepared for the possibility that we wouldn’t be able to get it anywhere near the blonde I wanted in one session. But Kristen was so calm and confident. She explained the process step by step, what she was doing, why she was doing it, and what to realistically expect. I loved that she was honest but still optimistic. It didn’t feel like empty promises — it felt like she genuinely knew what she was doing. Now let’s talk about the RESULTS. I was genuinely shocked in the best way possible. My hair lifted beautifully. Somehow she managed to take my skunk-dyed mess and turn it into a pretty, blended, blonde that actually looks intentional and soft. There’s no harsh lines, no weird patches — just a clean, dimensional blonde. I kept looking at it in the mirror like… this is MY hair??? And the part that really blew me away? The condition. I expected at least some dryness or that brittle feeling you sometimes get after color correction. But no. My hair still feels healthy. It’s soft. It has movement. It doesn’t feel fried at all. I truly don’t understand how she managed to lift and correct everything without damage, but she did. That alone shows how skilled she is. The entire appointment felt like she cared about the integrity of my hair, not just getting it light as fast as possible. She took her time. She checked on it. She adjusted where needed. It never felt rushed. On top of all that, the price was more than fair. For the amount of work that had to go into correcting skunk dye and getting me to a pretty blonde in a healthy way, I honestly expected to pay way more. The quality of the service absolutely exceeded the price. It felt like I got luxury-level results without the insane luxury markup. Overall, I left feeling so happy and honestly kind of surprised at how well everything turned out. It’s rare to walk out of a hair appointment feeling 100% satisfied, but that’s exactly how I felt. Kristen is not only talented, but kind, patient, and genuinely passionate about what she does. If you’re nervous about a color correction, if your hair has been through a rough dye phase, or if you just want someone who will actually listen and care — Kristen is it. I’m beyond happy with my blonde, my hair feels healthy, and the entire experience was just such a positive one. 10/10. Would absolutely recommend. 💛

I asked Kristen to take away all the blonde/brassiness of my previous balayage. I wanted my hair to look bright and have some dimension while going back to my root color. She did exactly that! Kristen will make you feel comfortable and heard during your appointment. I’m so grateful I found her salon!!!

Kristen has been doing my hair for 10 years now. I moved to a different county but I still come back to fort Walton just so she can do my hair!! No one can do my hair except her. She’s so talented, kind and sweet. My mom, aunty and brother go to her for their haircut as well. She does haircut, highlights for men and women and children. Shes so professional and listens to what you want. You show her a picture and she can execute it perfectly! No one can do any hair better than her. Her salon is so nice and clean. She takes her time to do your hair and she really cares about the outcome. She has been doing hair for 30 years! She will treat your hair like her own and will make you feel so welcome and like family. She will even come in early before her opening time to do your hair. I came in today unexpectedly and was needing a haircut really bad and let me come in at 8 in the morning when she opens at 9. I am very picky with my hair and she gets it right every single time! She will also be doing my hair for my wedding!! She’s truly the best!!!!
